Happy New Year everyone! We brought a bottle of the bubbly home with us from our trip so we'll be celebrating with cherished memories of the past and looking forward to the future. What did you do to ring in the year?

Everywhere in Paris this is what we saw. Black boots with tights or leggings with short black coats. So chic and an easy look to bring back home.

 Enjoy the weekend and all the merry. Jack and I will be packing our bags for Paris next week but we'll be meeting friends for pizza tonight.

I was actually wearing an outfit similar to this today. The skirt wasn't quite as big (think victorian/edwardian petticoat) along with a pair of Hunter boots and the flannel shirt. Yes; I get looks. No; I don't care.

so adorably wonderful. Loving these chandeliers from cakevintage.Entirely crafted by hand, the fixture uses vintage silver-plate flatware for the "crystals". How sweet would this be in a kitchen?

weekend

Jack and I will be rummaging through our boxes in the attic to find a few Christmas decorations to remind us of the season. With Paris in two weeks it seems silly to be over the top with the garland ,glitter, and fairy lights although I do love the sparkle. Do you decorate your place?
