This photo of fashion icon Jane Birkin was snapped almost 40 years ago yet looks like it was styled in 2012. The high waisted pants (albeit a bit too flared for my taste!) tank and addition of suspenders give it a "who's that girl?" sort of look. Happy weekend everyone!

making it happen

One of my resolutions was to see more friends this year and so happy to say that this weekend was filled with good conversation and great friends at our home. Isn't it strange that you can live within 30 minutes from close friends but only see them a handful of times during a year? Not this year. More time with the people I love.

on any given block in Paris you can find a chocolate shop to tempt you with decadent treats; a lingerie shop that is eye candy for you and him; and a bistro or cafe to stop in and enjoy a cafe au lait or a glass of wine, people watch, and indulge your senses. Love.
